GYA member networking meetings 2022

Since 2019, many incoming GYA members have not had the chance to meet in person. This year, we are facing another online AGM, as the hurdles for even a hybrid meeting in Japan turned out to be too high for a truly global academy like the GYA.

To support some in-person networking, albeit on a small scale, the GYA offered co-funding of member-organised networking meetings. The meetings accomplish aspects that GYA members were unable to experience since early 2020 due to the pandemic: bring together GYA members, allow for networking and exchange of ideas without the need of long-distance travel. They are styled to strengthening every participant’s network-building.
